School Supply Lists

Every Monday each student will receive a homework sheet. Children should do their homework in the homework book that will be provided at the cost of $5 for 2 books. Parents should sign it every night and return it to school the following day in their two pocket folder. Homework is a necessary and important part of the curriculum, so we do ask for your cooperation. Please send in the $5 in an envelope with your child’s name on it within the next 2 weeks. 

Supply List:

• 3 two pocket folders 
• 1 black and white marble composition book 
• 2 boxes of crayons (1 is to be kept home for homework) 
• 2 pairs of blunt scissors (1 pair to be kept at home for homework) 
• 6 glue sticks (white glue only) 
• White index cards (to be kept at home for sight word activities) 
• 1 package of washable markers (Crayola)
• 1 package of #2 pencils (pre-sharpened Ticonderoga) 
• 1 Package of dry erase markers (black only please) 
• 1 Package of colored pencils (Crayola)
• 1 set of headphones (iPad compatible, labeled with child's name) 

We are also asking for a spare set of clothing. Accidents do happen!! Please label the bag or box that the clothes are sent in with your child’s name. Replenish as needed. 

Your child needs to bring a book bag to school daily with the two pocket folder inside. This will be for information going to and from school. (for ex. lunch money, absence notes, letters, forms…) Please check it and clean it out regularly.

First Grade* all supplies should be labeled with your child’s name and class.  Please refrain from purchasing your supplies from dollar stores.  Target/Walmart/Staples etc have fabulous sales as early as July 4th on good quality supplies. ALL supplies will be kept in school.  Please keep extra supplies at home for homework. EARLY IN YOUR CHILD’S ACADEMIC CAREER IS A GREAT TIME TO INVEST IN A GOOD QUALITY ELECTRIC PENCIL SHARPENER (it will last you for years!).
